MEET THE STAFF:
Rev. Dennis Trimble,
Pastor
Bro.
Dennis is a native of Akron, Ohio, but has considered Cullman his
home
since 1975. He is a 1978 graduate of Cullman High School and
received a B.A. degree from Samford University in 1983. He has
done graduate work through Southern and New Orleans Baptist
Theological Seminaries as well as Luther Rice Seminary.
He was
ordained to the gospel ministry in 1982 and has served churches in
Alabama and Kentucky.
He and his
wife, Shirley Jo, married in October, 1984. They have one son,
Robbie.
Bro.
Dennis' interests include reading, tracing family genealogy, and
rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats during basketball season ("Go Big
Blue!").
Joan Scott, Church Secretary
Joan Scott, a graduate of Cullman High School,
has served as Church Secretary at Northside Baptist since 1972.
She has two children, Matt Scott and Bethany Hogan, and two
grandchildren, Jackson and Kabri Hogan. Interests include
reading, the beach and sports; football being a particular favorite.
She is a big supporter of the Cullman High School Bearcats and also
enjoys watching NFL games.
Jeff Harris,
Director of Music
Jeff
Harris and his wife Cindy grew up in the Cullman area. Bro. Jeff graduated from Cullman High School in 1977 and Cindy graduated
in 1978. They were married in 1979. They have two children,
Anna and Josh. Bro. Jeff was raised attending services and has
actively been involved in choirs and ensembles
at Northside. He served as interim music director several
times. In 1998, the position became vacant and he felt the Lords leading to accept the position. He is employed
with Cooper Tools, Nicholson File Cullman Operation as the
Safety/Environmental Coordinator. Jeff also enjoys participating in
car shows and "cruise-in" events where he compares how God can take
someone's life, even if it is banged and bruised, clean, fine tune
it and polish it into something of value.
Dusty Pinkard,
Director of
Students
Growing up in
Cullman County since birth has been a normal life for Dusty.
His parents, Jim and Mary Pinkard, carried him to church first at
the age of two weeks. He has always attended faithfully, while
involving himself in children and youth activities. Dusty
attended school at Fairview Elementary and later was home schooled
from third grade through high school. He is presently
attending ITT Tech in Birmingham. His hobbies include hunting,
fishing, golfing, ballgames and restoring classic Ford Mustangs.
Dusty feels
God has given him the compassion for youth and has called him to be
a Minister of Youth. His desire is to bring youth to a closer walk
with God. |
